- You must book an appointment to see the doctor, nurse or clinician.
- You can book an appointment with a doctor on the day however we cannot guarantee the doctor of your choice
- You can pre-book up to two weeks in advance with the doctor of your choice.
- You can book an appointment with a nurse up to two weeks in advance
- You can book an appointment by telephone, in person or online.
One appointment is for one patient. If other members of your family need to see the doctor, please make a separate appointment.
Appointments with a Doctor or Nurse
We will try to accommodate requests for an appointment with the doctor or nurse of your choice. If he/she is not available and your problem is urgent, you will be offered an appointment with a doctor or nurse on duty at that time.
If the doctor or nurse needs to see you again as part of your treatment or diagnosis, then they will give you a follow up appointment slip for you to make your next appointment.
When you telephone for an appointment, if we are very busy we may not be able to see you that day unless your need is urgent. We might have to ask you to ring the following day to arrange your appointment. You will, however, be seen by a healthcare professional within 24 hours or a GP within 48 hours.
Our Care Navigators are here to help you get the most out of the services offered in the Practice. Feel free to ask them any questions. They may need to ask you for some information about your problem in order to help. Please be assured that the receptionists work under a strict code of confidentiality.
If you are seeing a doctor for an examination and wish to have a chaperone present, please ask the doctor who will arrange this.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
